Elon Musk hints at Twitter charging $8 a month for blue tick

New Delhi: Amidst the talks of charging the verified Twitter profiles, Elon Musk hinted Tuesday that a twitter user may have to pay USD 8 per month for blue tick.

Musk was responding to a query from the author Stphen King if he will have to pay $20 a month to retain his blue tick.

“We need to pay the bills somehow! Twitter cannot rely entirely on advertisers. How about $8?” Musk asked King.

According the Musk, this move will help twitter defeat the bots and trolls which he will explain before implementation.
