Bhagwani Devi Dagar, a 94-year-old sprinter from India won three medals at the World Masters Athletics championships 2022 in Finland on July 11, 2022.
She won a gold medal in the 100 m sprint in the senior-citizen category with a timing of 24.74 seconds.
Bhagwani also bagged a bronze medal in shot put.
After returning to India the 94-year-old said " I am very happy...have made my country proud by winning medals in another country," says 94-year-old Bhagwani Devi Dagar on winning gold and 2 bronze for India at the World Masters Athletics Championships in Finland."
