"Once the deal closes, we don't know which direction the platform will go," CEO Parag Agrawal said after Musk acquired Twitter for $44 billion.
Post billionaire Elon Musk’s deal of acquiring social media giant firm ‘Twitter’, its Chief Executive Parag Agrawal told employees on Monday that the future of their company is looking uncertain and dark, reports Reuters.
Agrawal added, “Once the deal closes, we don’t know which direction the platform will go.”
Musk will join Twitter staff for a question-and-answer session at a later date, Twitter told its employees.
Last week, the world's richest man Elon Musk, before closing the deal to buy Twitter for USD 44 billion, has since been vocal about the need for the social media giant to drive greater transparency on how and why it promotes content. Musk also stressed that Twitter should open-source its algorithms.
