New Delhi: In reply to Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s adventure in Gujarat, BJP MPs Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma, Ramesh Bidhuri, and Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri visited many Delhi government-run schools to puncture the Kejriwal Government’s tall claims.â¨
Sisodia visited a few government schools in Gujarat on Monday and claimed schools in Gujarat are in very poor form and shape.
The BJP leaders are showing live visuals of schools in poor conditions across Delhi. Verma visited Govt. Girls Sr. Secondary School, Pandwalan Khurd New Delhi.
Visiting the school, Verma accused Kejriwal government of wasting taxpayer’s money on big hoardings and advertisements.
Verma claimed that the Kejriwal government has done nothing when it comes to creating, curating, and building school infrastructure.
Highlighting the unavailability of science faculty in the school and the problem of frequent power cuts faced by school children, he pointed toward classroom walls.
School children, teachers, and support staff are managing to teach and study in the atmosphere of fear as the school building has already been declared unsafe, claimed Verma.
Ramesh Bidhuri visited another school in South Delhi. He brought into notice the dilapidated condition of the school building, shattered, dampen, and dirty classrooms, tattered walls, broken windows, rotten ply of cupboards, and crumpled blackboards in the school.
Bidhuri also highlighted the lack of access to clean water and poor hygienic conditions on the school premises.
“Manish Sisodia ji, this world-class school is from South Delhi, where more than 64 girls are sitting in a section. In the capital of the country, children are sitting on the ground in a portacabin of raw tin in the scorching heat. There is no arrangement for even a desk. Leave Gujarat theatrics for later,” said Bidhuri in his Facebook post.
BJP MPs challenged Kejriwal government’s false advertisements claiming to have changed the face of Delhi’s government school and many times comparing government schools in Delhi to be world-class and at par with schools in Singapore, the USA, or European countries, which is a distant reality.
