New Delhi: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the Civil Services 2022 results today and a total of 933 candidates are recommended for various posts. Waseem Ahmad Bhat and Parsanjeet Kaur from Jammu and Kashmir have secured 7th and 11th ranks respectively.
Waseem Ahmad Bhat from Anantnag district has secured 7th rank. As per the reports, Waseem also appeared for the UPSC 2021 exam has secured 225th rank.
Jammu and Kashmir’s Parsanjeet Kour has secured 11th Rank. She is the daughter of Nirmal Singh and Darshan Kour (Medical department) and resides in Radio station Poonch.
A total of 30 Muslims figure in the final list of the Indian Civil Services, the examination for which was conducted by the UPSC for the year 2022.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) held the main examination for the Civil Services in September 2022 and Personal Interviews between January and May 2023.
A total of 933 candidates have been recommended for IAS, IPS, IFS, IRS, and other civil services posts.
The UPSC conducted Personal Interviews of the Civil Services 2022 aspirants in 03 Phases, with the 3rd and last phase ending on May 18, 2023.
