Terrorists kill migrant labourer in J-K's Bandipora

New Delhi: Another migrant labourer from Bihar has been killed by terrorists in Bandipora of Jammu & Kashmir.

The Kashmir police tweeted Friday morning that the incidence of firing on outside labourer Mohd Amrez took place in the intervening night at Soadnara Sumbal in Bandipora.

According to the police, Amrez succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

This is the second such incidence of targeted killing in the valley this month. On August 4, a labourer from Bihar was killed and two others injured in a grenade attack by terrorists in Pulwama district.

"The deceased outside labourer has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz, a resident of Sakwa Parsa, Bihar. The Injured have been identified as Mohammad Arif and his son Mohammad Majbool, residents of Rampor, Bihar," the spokesman said.

Terrorists had stepped up attacks on non-locals earlier this year but there was a halt in such targeted killings for the past nearly two months
