Prayagraj: Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur and Shubh Chhapra of Mahoba were the top position holders respectively in High School and Intermediate examination conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UP Board) this year, a senior official said.
Priyanshi Soni of Sitapur topped the High School examination scoring 98.33 per cent, while Kushagra Pandey of Kanpur Dehat and Mishkat Noor of Ayodhya were ranked second with 97.83 per cent marks.
Mathura's Krishna Jha, Pilibhit's Arpit Gangwar, and Sultanpur's Shreyashi Singh secured the third position with 97.67 per cent marks.
Director (Secondary Education) Dr Mahendra Dev said 179 students made it to the top 10 list in the High School exam.
In the Intermediate examination, Shubh Chhapra of Mahoba district scored 97.80 per cent marks to top the list.
According to the top 10 list released by the UP Board, Pilibhit's Saurabh Gangwar and Etawah's Anamika secured the second position with 97.20 per cent marks.
Priyanshu Upadhyay and Khushi of Fatehpur, and Supriya of Siddharth Nagar stood third with 97 per cent marks.
A total of 253 students secured a place in the top 10 list of Intermediate, Dev added.
