Meet Ishita Kishore, UPSC AIR 1, SRCC alumnus and sports enthusiasts

New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the UPSC CSE 2022 final result on Tuesday. Ishita Kishore is the topper of the UPSC Civil Services Exam 2022.

Ishita Kishore is an economics graduate. She completed her graduation from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University in 2017.

After this, she worked with Ernst & Young in risk advisory. She has been an active sportsperson.

She has been a good all-rounder performer since her school.

Ishita cracked the UPSC exam in her third attempt. It was the first time that she qualified for the interview round, the third stage to qualify for the UPSC exam.

Garima Lohia and Uma Harithi N secured the second and third ranks respectively in the coveted examination, according to the results.

As many as 933 candidates qualified the civil services examination, it said.

The civil services examination is conducted annually in three stages -- preliminary, main and interview -- by the UPSC to select officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS) and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
