Lawrence Bishnoi gang member held in Goa

Panaji: Goa Police on Thursday arrested an alleged member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang wanted in a robbery case in Rajasthan, an official said here.

The man, who hails from Mandor in Jodhpur district, was held by a team of Panaji police, he said.

The arrest was made after Sardarpura police station in Jodhpur district informed Panaji police about his whereabouts here, the official said.

As per a case registered by Rajasthan police, the accused and his associates allegedly robbed one Jesaram at the latter's office on March 4.

The accused was on the run since then, the official said, adding that he would be handed over to Rajasthan police.
