The two-day workshop series, to be held on April 28 at the National Crafts Museum and Hastkala Academy here, will highlight textile traditions from across the country including Gond art from Bhopal, Sikki grass weaving from Bihar, and Telia Rumal from Andhra Pradesh.

"The collaboration is planned as an extension of the museum's efforts to take art outside of the museum space, making it accessible and offering the public another innovative way to engage with and celebrate India's vibrant cultural and artistic heritage," the organisers said in a statement.

Some of the nation's foremost artisans and textile designers, including Agrima Wadhwa and Meghavi Sharma, will also lead the workshops on Shibori dyeing, eco botanical printing, and punch embroidery.
