New Delhi: The Kerala High Court Friday allowed a week’s time to the All India Digital Cable Federation (AIDCF) to file a rejoinder after hearing all the broadcasters.
AIDCF at the outset insisted to adjourn the hearing by 3 weeks allowing it to file rejoinder. TRAI and Indian Broadcasting and Digital Foundation (IBDF) objected and requested the court to continue the hearing on final disposal of the writ.
After Zee’s submission, AIDCF again sought time to file rejoinder. Accepting the petitioner's request, court granted it a week’s time to file the rejoinder and placed the matter for rejoinder arguments on March 3, 2023.

Justice Chaly instructed AIDCF to send the copy of the rejoinder to the respondents a day in advance.
The member cable operators of AIDCF and broadcasters reached an agreement on Thursday to sign the interconnection agreements without prejudice.
Submissions regarding parties having arrived to some arrangement was also disputed. And so the court didn’t record.
However, all the cable operators have signed the interconnection deals complying with the provisions of NTO 3.o and the broadcasters - Disney Star, Zee Entertainment and Sony TV - have resumed the signal.
