This rare sight was last seen in the year 1963 and it's safe to say that after a good 59 years, Jupiter will appear to be bigger and brighter.

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system, which has around 53 moons and takes almost 11 years to complete one revolution around the sun. Jupiter will be exactly opposite to the sun making this arrangement a rare sight. Infect, it won’t only be unique, but Jupiter will also be visible from Earth.

Adam Kobelsi, a research astrophysicist at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Centre, Huntsville, Alabama suggested that in order to see the details of the planet, a 4-inch or larger telescope should be used.

This unique celestial event shouldn't be missed as this rare sight will again be seen only after 107 years in the year 2129.
