New Delhi: The CBSE has announced its Class 12 board exam results. This year CBSE will not publish toppers lists of Class 10 and 12 board exams.
Other details such as pass percentage, gender-wise, school-wise, region-wise results, etc. will be published along with the board exam marks.
As a policy decision, CBSE has decided to discontinue the practice of announcing the toppers list, unlike past years. The decision was taken in 2019 keeping in mind the mental health and well-being of the students.
Girls have again outshone boys in the CBSE Class 12 board exams, results for which were declared on Monday with 87.98 per cent of students passing the test.
Last year, the total pass percentage was 87.33 per cent.
