New Delhi: CBI on Saturday called out Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia’s claims that the agency raided his office in Delhi Secretariat in the alleged excise policy scam case.
According to sources, a team of CBI went to Sisodia’s office to collect the documents after issuing a notice under section 91 of CRPC act.
Enforcement Directorate raided Sisodia's house in September last year. In October, the CBI questioned Sisodia in connection with the liquor scam case for over nine hours.
Next month in November, CBI filed its first charge sheet against seven accused, in which Sisodia's name did not figure. The central investigative agency had then said that the probe was still open.
Earlier, Sisodia tweeted about the CBI raids and claimed that nothing will be found in the raids.
He said that in past also they did not find anything in raids on his house and village.
