New Delhi: It is a super Sunday for the Indian media.

On one hand, the media is non-stop covering developments related to the killing of gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmad and his brother in Prayagraj.

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is going to CBI headquarters for questioning in the excise policy case in which his deputy Manish Sisodia was arrested on February 26.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and some of his cabinet colleagues and party MLAs are expected to accompany AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal to the CBI headquarters, along with a long list of AAP leaders from Delhi.

Kejriwal has been summoned by the CBI at its office in Delhi for questioning in connection with the alleged irregularities in the formulation and implementation of the now-scrapped excise policy. He has been summoned as a witness and is not an accused in the case.

However, the show of strength allegedly aimed at media coverage is likely to be given second priority in the wake of non-stop coverage of Atiq Ahmad’s killing.
