Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh government has appointed B. Suvartha Selina as a member of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) to fill an existing vacancy.
Selina is currently working in the Academic Cell of AP State Council of Higher Education in Mangalagiri.
“The Governor of Andhra Pradesh is pleased to appoint B. Suvartha Selina as member of the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission in the existing vacancy,” said chief secretary K. S. Jawahar Reddy in a statement shared by the state government on Monday.
According to the chief secretary, the appointment has been made exercising the gubernatorial powers conferred under Articles 316 (1) and 316 (2) of the Constitution of India.
