The situation on the ground appears volatile as Punjab police have cordoned off the entire area surrounding Golden Temple in a possible attempt to arrest him before he could surrender.

As per media reports, he has put three conditions before his arrest. One is that he should not be beaten in custody, then he should be kept in Punjab jail and then his police custody must look like surrender, not arrest.

While it remains to be seen who blinks first, his recorded video, meanwhile, has gone viral.

He hit out at Punjab police for a major crackdown on him and his outfit Waris Punjab De.

He said that it was due to the blessing of the almighty that he could overcome such a huge police action, but the way the police acted against his supporters was not acceptable.

They did not spare even women and handicapped people. The police action, he said, reminded him of the black days in the 80s and 90s when hundreds of innocent Sikh youth were killed and prosecuted. There is no closure on it so far.

He then said that the police had no intention of arresting him. They wanted to create a spectacle to defame Sikhs in the global community,

He then thanked people around the world who came to his support for the illegal action of Punjab police and held protests in several parts of the world.

It is pertinent to mention that the protest held by pro-Khalistan supporters in the UK, Canada and the US led to violent clashes. Indian embassies were attacked in London and San Francisco

Even the senior journalist of PTI Lalit K Jha was manhandled by pro-Khalistan supporters during a protest in Washington DC.

While claiming that this protest was important to realise the world of police brutality against the Sikhs, he said the Punjab government is not keen on releasing all those arrested so far.

He called upon Jathedar to summon a Sarbat Khalsa, a huge Sikh religious gathering, during the upcoming Baisakhi festival to unite Sikhs all over the world against the police and the state operation

He concluded it by saying that this was testing time but we will overcome it with the blessing of gurus.
