Imran Khan was misleading people, confesses shooter after arrest

New Delhi: Confessing in front of the police, the shooter on Thursday said that he tried to kill Imran Khan because he felt that the PTI leader was misleading the countrymen.

Police arrested the shooter immediately after the attack who was later identified as M Naveed, a resident of Wazirabad.

In a video confession, Naveed can be heard saying that he wanted to eliminate Khan since he left Karachi for the long march.

Naveed claimed that he launched the attack on his own and no one is behind him.
