New Delhi: Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) Saturday claimed that it killed nine and injured seven personnel of Pakistani occupying forces in attacks in Zarghoon and Margat.
However, Pakistan military's media affairs wing confirmed the death of three soldiers. Pakistan Army also said that a terrorist was gunned down when militants attacked a security post in Zarghoon.
"Last night (Friday), BLA fighters targeted an outpost of Pakistani military in Zarghoon near Quetta. In the multi-pronged attack, five enemy personnel were killed on the spot while three fled their positions in injured conditions," BLA said.
BLA said that the occupying Pakistani forces commenced military aggression in Zarghoon, Margat and adjoining areas on Saturday morning.
"The enemy forces were aided by gunship helicopters and unmanned aerial vehicles. BLA fighters ambushed Pakistani military troops near Margat. At least four enemy personnel were eliminated and four were injured in this attack," it said.
BAL alleged that a few coal contractors and miners are working directly as collaborators of Pakistani forces in Zarghoon, Bolan and adjoining areas.
"The military is building outposts in the area for the security of these collaborators and the outpost targeted yesterday was built for the same reasons," BLA said.
The elements working on payroll of Pakistani occupying military should realise that if this military cannot defend themselves then how are they going to protect their facilitators? asked BLA.
BLA said that it has warned several times that if anyone is found working as an informant for the Pakistani military or if anyone engaged in providing supplies to the occupying forces then they will have to bear responsibility for their acts and the resulting consequences.
"We have a very clear and comprehensive political roadmap to achieve national salvation. Every decision is taken with full political consideration. We strongly believe that strong power can only stem from public support, and considers it a national crime to harm any member of the public. However, irrespective of race and religion, anyone who is in cahoots with the occupying forces will never be spared," BLA said.
