Although exercising regularly helps in losing weight and building muscles. But exercises done in a continuation of 10 minutes and more are the best kind of exercises for a healthy heart.
Cardio exercises also known as Aerobic exercises are known to be the best workout for good heart health. These exercises use repetitive contradiction of large muscle groups and get your heart beating faster, leading to increased circulation, helping lower blood pressure, and controlling your blood glucose and other heart-related issues.
Some of the best Aerobic exercises are running, walking, swimming, playing a sport, jogging, and cycling. While doing these exercises your whole body moves at a fast pace, therefore, raising your heart rate which makes you breathe harder.
The doctor suggests doing at least 150 minutes of cardio exercise per week.
Although one can always opt for alternate exercising options other than just Cardio, as there is no ‘magic bullet’ for exercise, the important thing is to do it.

Yoga is great for the heart as it helps to strengthen and tone your muscles. It also makes your body flexible, helps you learn balance, and makes your whole body stretch which benefits your musculoskeletal health.
This helps in removing joint pain, cramping, and other muscular issues. The flexibility helps you do aerobic exercises and resistance training, which indirectly affects your heart health.
Certain types of yoga can also get your heart rate up and help you relax which helps in lowering blood pressure.
Interval Training
These are known as high-intensity workouts or HIIT, which forces your heart to alternate between working hard and recovering, and doing the same set of exercises multiple times in a single workout helps your heart become efficient.
HIIT just not impacts your heart but also affects bone density which helps to strengthen and lower the risk for osteoporosis and other bone-related problems by improving bone density.

Core Workouts
These workouts don’t directly improve your heart directly but help your heart in a few different ways. Without a strong core, you are likely to develop pain in your body such as back, hips, and knees. So, keeping your core strength will help you avoid injuries and pain which will help you exercise longer and keep your heart happy.
Core exercises also help with balance and help you lose fat which also indirectly helps your heart.
