YRF releases Shamshera trailer, an ultimate dacoit drama

Yash Raj Films dropped the trailer of the Period Action film "Shamshera" on Friday, starring Actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, and Vaani Kapoor.

The movie's teaser brought a lot of hype leading to curiosity among the audience. YRF shared a poster of Ranbir Kapoor on their official Twitter handle, where he's seen as a fierce warrior, sporting long mane and beard.

Directed by Karan Malhotra, the film is set in the 1800s and chronicles the story of a dacoit tribe fighting for their right and independence from the British. 

The movie is a story of a man who became a slave, and how a slave became a leader and then a legend for his tribe who relentlessly fights for his tribe's freedom and dignity.

The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telegu on July 22, 2022. It was set to get released in December 2019 but due to Covid-19 the dates were postponed to March 2022, but they were pushed again.
