Tunisha suicide case: Court order on jailed TV actor Sheezan Khan's bail plea likely on Mar 4

Palghar: A court in Maharashtra's Palghar district is expected to give its order on the bail application of television actor Sheezan Khan, arrested for allegedly abetting the suicide of his co-star Tunisha Sharma, on Saturday (March 4), his counsel informed on Thursday.

Advocate Sharad Rai, who argued for Khan's bail, said Additional Sessions Judge SM Deshpande at Vasai will deliver the order.

The hearing on the bail plea was held in-camera.

Khan (28), arrested for alleged abetment of Sharma's suicide late last year, is currently in jail under judicial custody.

Khan and Sharma (21) were allegedly in a relationship but had a break-up later.

Sharma allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself on December 24, 2022, on the sets of a TV serial near Valiv in the district. Khan was arrested the next day on a complaint lodged by Sharma's mother.
