Tunisha Sharma death: Co-actor Sheezan Khan arrested for abetment

New Delhi: The death of television actor Tunisha Sharma (21) on Saturday allegedly allegedly by suicide on the set of a serial in Vasai in Maharashtra's Palghar district, took a new turn.

The police detained the Sharma's co-actor for questioning following a complaint filed by Tunisha's mother.

Waliv police said that it arrested actress Tunisha Sharma's co-star Sheezan Khan by registering a case of abetment to suicide. 

Police registered a case under section 306 of IPC. He will be presented in court tomorrow.

“Tunisha Sharma died by suicide on the set of a TV serial. Her mother has registered a complaint. We are investigating this,” said ACP Chandrakanth Jadhav.
