Rahul Dev takes inspiration from his father to play a cop in Gaslight!

Disney+ Hotstar is all set to launch its upcoming psychological thriller Gaslight. Produced by Ramesh Taurani, Tips Films Ltd. and Akshai Puri, 12th Street Entertainment and directed by Pavan Kirpalani, the film releases on 31st March 2023 exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar.

Sara Ali Khan helms the mind-bending, edge-of-the-seat thriller along with Vikrant Massey, Chitrangda Singh, Akshay Oberoi, and Rahul Dev amongst others.

The supremely versatile and handsome actor, Rahul Dev will be seen donning a cop in this whodunit and we can’t wait to see what he has in store. The actor took inspiration from his beloved father to play this role!

Regarding this, Rahul Dev said, “The character is that of an investigative cop 'Ashok' whose approach towards his work is sincere. I have had pretty good insights on how the real cop world functions growing up, taking inspiration from my father, the part's been played instinctively."
