A bet simple cost $830,000 to Drake

New Delhi: The Canadian rapper Drake lost $830,000 in a two-fold bet after Real Madrid won by 3-1.

The rapper had backed Arsenal and Barcelona with a huge amount of cash.

While Arsenal kept their end of the bargain to beat Leeds United, which they did in the first half thanks to Bukayo Saka’s goal. But it seems as if God had other plans. As in the second half of the bet, Barcelona lost to Real Madrid.

According to sources, Drake would have won three million euros if his bet would have come true, but this time, it’s the bookies who are celebrating this win.

World famous rapper did not only back the team with money, instead, he had his owl logo on their T-shirts. Additionally, he even appeared on a sports star with the team.

Apparently, for the teams, this money is appearing as a curse. Many people are now saying that the teams which have been backed up by Drake have lost their matches. For instance, Philadelphia lost to Toronto Raptors, Barcelona to Real Madrid, Paul Pogba at Manchester United, Wilfred Saha at Crystal Palace, PSG was beaten 5-1 by Little; McGregor by Khabib in UFC.

But unfortunately, the loss seems to be larger on Drake’s side as he lost a whopping $830,000 in no time.
