Mumbai: Ashok Leyland on Wednesday said it has received Central Motor Vehicle Rules (CMVR) certification for its LNG fuel Truck -- AVTR UF3522, and its variants from the Automotive Research Association of India.
The company said as a part of the green mobility agenda, it aims to bring alternative fuel-based vehicles which can provide the same efficiency and range as its internal combustion engine-driven models.
AVTR UF3522, which is based on the modular truck platform AVTR, is an effort to bring clean and safe vehicles to all its stakeholders, Ashok Leyland said.
JSW Group ties up with ElectricPe to develop EV charging infra
JSW Group has partnered with ElectricPe to develop EV charging infrastructure across its offices in a move that will enable its employees to get access to 1 lakh charging points on the latter's platform.
As part of the collaboration, the platform has already enabled the required charging infrastructure at the group's city-based headquarters and these services will soon be expanded at its other offices, JSW said in a statement on Wednesday.

Under this structure, the company said, it has signed an initial pact with two non-banking financing institutions, which are focused on EV financing for a commitment of USD 25-million over the next 12 months.

Rays Power Infra inaugurates solar plants in Karnataka *Rays Power Infra on Wednesday announced the inauguration of 150MW grid-connected solar power plants in Raichur and Koppal, Karnataka.
This project will approximately reduce 1,56,400 tonne of CO2 and produce 2,40,000 MW of green energy per year, a company statement said.
