PepsiCo India picks Publicis Media to handle its Rs 600 crore media duties

New Delhi: Close on the heels of retaining Nestle's media mandate, Publicis Groupe India has won FMCG major, PepsiCo India’s media mandate.

Earlier this month, PepsiCo India handed over its creative duties to Publicis Groupe’s creative arm Leo Burnett India.

With this development, PepsiCo India has consolidated its media, creative and digital business with Publicis Groupe, demonstrating the strength and success of the Groupe’s Power Of One model which helps brands excel and lead in the complex platform world.

The account was bagged post a multi-agency pitch process which saw participation from top agencies including IPG, Dentsu and Omnicom Media Group.

The incumbent WPP agencies were not a part of the pitch process.

According to the industry estimates, the account size is pegged in the range of Rs 600-650 crore.
